Made in Burton Green 2018
Making Day on Sunday 22 April
Two sessions: 11 am – 1 pm and 2 - 4 pm
Muddy Cottage Pottery @ 293 Cromwell Lane
Come along and recreate your house in clay to exhibit on a map of our village in the Village Hall on 23 & 24 June. All welcome, no need to book, just come along to a session that suits. You may also wish to make a gargoyle for the ‘Mischief in the Woods’ art project – materials and guidance will be available.
No experience necessary, all materials and tools provided, but if you have a rolling pin please bring it. If you don’t have a photographic memory please bring a picture or sketch along with you (printed or on your phone).
Come in scruffs or bring an apron, and wear shoes you don’t mind getting muddy as path to pottery can be wet.
Help us fill the Greenway with scarecrows for the last time before HS2!
Scarecrows and the ‘Mischief in the Woods’ sculpture trail will be in situ between 15 June and 8 July
Need help in getting started with your scarecrow?
Drop in to the Village Hall on Thursday 26th April, between 7.30 – 8.30pm for informal chat about ideas and techniques
